The THS Alumni Weekend Car & Cycle Show was the idea of the THS Alumni Association and Alumni Jeremy Soptic. The goal of the Car Show was to help raise money for the Trenton High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. Soptic agreed to help get the Car Show off the ground by doing it for one year. The first show occurred in 2021 at the THS/TMS Parking Lot and has been a thriving, growing, and amazing addition to the Alumni Weekend Festivities. After the first year was over Jeremy Soptic’s son (Cole Soptic) decided he would take over the Alumni Weekend Car Show. Under Cole’s guidance the Alumni Weekend Car Show grew in numbers, changed location, gained new sponsors, and separated from the THS Alumni Association in 2024. Cole then helped form the Trenton Krazy Kruzers. This allowed Trenton Cruise Nights and Trenton Alumni Weekend Car & Cycle Show to be managed under one board. This new change also allowed Trenton Krazy Kruzers to create the Trenton Alumni Weekend Car & Cycle Show Scholarship. This Scholarship will be awarded to a THS Senior who is interested in going into the automotive industry.

We are so thankful for the support our community, participants, and the committee members have shown for this event. So far each year we have been able to raise enough money to give away one $500 scholarship. We are thrilled to be able to continue this amazing tradition! The only difference is that it will now be the Trenton Alumni Weekend Car & Cycle Show Scholarship! We want to thank everyone involved in the growth of this car show and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
